The Magnificent Power of Nine: Gifts of the Spirit

In 1 Corinthians chapters 12 and 14 we find an interesting foundational exposition by the Apostle Paul
regarding a work of the Holy Spirit within the body of Messiah. That is, what is known as the nine (9)
gifts of the Holy Spirit. In this book, we want to analyze and get an understanding of the nine gifts of the
Spirit that Paul identified. For as Paul stated, 1 Corinthians 12: 1: “Now concerning spiritual gifts,
brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.”

It is therefore my goal to offer you a balanced exposition of these gifts, their activation and proper use
grounded on the original words, and biblical and personal examples that we can view, as well as the
years and hours of research I have in the study of this topic. It is my personal hope and prayer that
everyone reading this book, whether pro or con, may take the time to consider the material and pray for
the wisdom of the Lord regarding this subject.
